Electric Digital Meter Single Rate
Simply write down the numbers as you see them from left to right. Include any zeros at the start. This reading is 21138
Smart Meter - SMET 1
No need to take readings usually, not big lovers of these meters as the first generation are prone to faults. There is a myth that you can't switch supplier when you have one fitted but you can and you should then have the better 2nd generation smart meter installed.
Single rate meter on right, use the numbers as you see them from left to right, include any zeros at the start, but ignore the red numbers or any after the decimal point. This meter reading is 63287. Dual rate meter on left, two sets of numbers will either be labelled normal/low or day/night. This meter reading is low/night 47428 & day/normal 06019
